MIND THREADS WORKSHOP
During 3,5 hour workshop, you will gain an awareness of yourself, acceptance of who you are and where you are now. We will explore the challenges you face and consider how some simple wellbeing techniques can help you with these, whilst moving forwards to where you want to be in your life.
It is a hands-on workshop whereby you up-cycle a t-shirt or tote bag whilst learning how to;
use the breath to calm your nervous system
understand your thoughts and where they come from
change unhelpful emotions for more helpful emotions
learn how the importance of boundaries and resilience
understand how to decrease anxiety and stress
understand how to put yourselves into a more positive state state of mind
utilise techniques to move forwards positively in your life
During the session, these wellbeing techniques will be anchored to the item you design creating a wearable toolkit for you when you may be feeling overwhelmed or stressed.
This will be held at your institute or an external venue if that would be preferred. The suggested group size is 5 - 10 students.

The price quoted includes a 3.5 hour workshop for 5 people to be held at your institution (an outside venue can be arranged at an additional cost).

This includes the provision of all materials and the teaching and supervision during the workshop for
5 people.
Subsequent attendees are charged at £50 pp to a maximum of 10 people.

Our kits use ‘sew on’ patches, inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken crockery is repaired with gold. The mended cracks become a thing of beauty, as we embrace the flaws. A metaphor for life; our journeys, cracks and flaws become our strength. They make us who we are when we embrace them and find kindness and the beauty in them.
The patches are for mending or enhancing garments, embracing the worn stories and forming a connection with our clothes .

MIND BOOST
An Online Community providing a safe place for learning, discussion and sharing.
A regular online ‘Mind Boost’ where you can join our community to hear speakers discuss relevant topics.
This interactive session will focus on a relevant subject matter with tips that you can apply to everyday life to help you feel confident, decrease stress and anxiety, build resilience and navigate the inevitable ups and downs .
Each session has a nominal non refundable charge of £5 pp, this will be nominated to a charity each month.
