Breathe

Through the breath, simple exercises can help ease stress and help you feel less anxious.

Our breathing cycle logo is an anchor to prompt you to do the following exercise when you feel anxious or stressed;

The four short dashes suggest you take in a long, deep slow breath to the count of four, as you breathe in say in your mind “I breathe in peace and calm”.

The pause symbol suggests that you pause and hold this breath for 2 seconds, feeling this peace and calm flood your body.

Six short dashes prompt you to breath out for the count of 6, whilst saying in your mind “I breathe out stress and tension”.

At the end of this out breath, the pause symbol reminds you to pause again for the count of two, whilst feeling any anxiety and stress leaving your body.

It is suggested that you repeat this breathing cycle at least 3 times.

You will feel a sense of calm and ready to carry on your day, knowing that you have successfully helped yourself.
